Watch out for this shitty virus. For the past three weeks I’ve had this on my phone(Nokia6630) and its really annoying. Its has the name of HATI HATI SMS VIRUS.
What is does?
- It keeps sending SMS to the number 3396003964 every 3 seconds! Hence,
- It keeps your network connection busy, when other people call you, they can’t reach you.
- Keeping your network connection active means using up a lot of battery!! A fully charged phone doesn’t last more than 30 minutes.
- You always receive SMS(from your friends) LATE.
- You cannot connect to the web as your connection is always busy.
- You have to dial a number a lot of times before you can actually get it dialed.
- The content of the sms is blank, and it doesn’t show up in the sent items, you can see its activity in the Call Log though.
- Since it keeps on filling the call log, even you phone memory gets full rapidly.
Luckily, here in Mauritius, i don’t get charged when these sms are sent.
How to remove
- Download the little program called Fexplorer. It allows you to browse your phone memory content(even system files).
- Once installed, look for the folder ‘Guardian’ in the system folders in C:\ and DELETE IT.
- Voila, the annoyance is gone.

These DO NOT WORK
Mobile Antivirus software
Reason : Most antivirus(even free ones) require activation which require an internet connection, which you do not have. Even if you managed to install one, it doesn’t detect this virus.(My experience, NETQuin, Fsecure didnt work.).
Installling Anticomwarrior
Reason : This virus isnt com warrior. Simply.
Deep Reset using code (*#7370#)
Reason : it does nothing to the virus! Just resets your phone. DO NOT DO THIS.
Disabling Cell Broadcast
Reason : Well, i don’t quite know. But it doesn’t work either.

But for normal SMS, i do pay my 60cts.

Another solution : Bring your phone to a mobile technician and get it format (if you haven’t any experience in formatting mobiles)

) Deleting a folder can be done by almost anyone and it saves your other data and settings.. pretty neat!
I probably got it while trying to install all sorts of apps in the phone! *angel*

Btw… shouldn’t the virus have been detected on your PC on the first place?
(I know Kaspersky & Eset do check for mobile viruses)
I once got a virus via bluetooth. Fortunately, the antivirus in my phone deleted it. :p

btw, you should try to see how it manages to sent sms without crediting your account.

I still cant figure that out. When i send an sms to an invalid number, zoranz still charges 60cts. But this virus wasnt using up my credit, although it clearly sent the smss’.

Its not quite using the phone network to send the sms. it looks more like its using the internet to send the sms(thats why your connection is always on). all the virus does is makes your phone think that its sent a sms thru the phone network so that it logs it and eats up your phone memory…

I have faced alot of probs bcoz of this bloody Virus, faced all kind of Issues which u have mentioned in the site….Luckily, I landed into the right site where I could find the TRUE SOLUTION for this Virus…Thq sooooooooooooooooooooo much for ur Post and ur BRAIN……:-)

Hi Sun, The Virus is getting replicated again and I’m using the same Trick to Kill it…:-)
I have downloaded the Kaspersky AV and installed in my mob, when i had a Scan. It found 6 viruses..Now mob is FREE from Viruses…Thank God my mob is Safe….Thanks for ur Blog…:-)
