English Premier League on MBC

Yes, you heard it right! Our dear national Television channel(Mauritius) has announced that they will start broadcasting Live football matches of the English Premier League big four(ManU, Arse, Chleski, LFC?). According to them, its been 10 years since MBC lost the right to broadcast these(or rather Mc vision & Canal+ acquired them). Our dear Mr. Bheenik has found a solution(as he himself stated in his press conference) and reached an agreement with McVision to broadcast the EPL matches of season 2009/2010

Personally, i find this REALLY AWESOME nice!! This is a short post, but contains loads of ‘JOY’!! I’m sure all the football fans in Mauritius will be delighted. Also, be sure to expect that they are going to brag about this for weeks, but I guess I’m totally fine with that.

Although some details remain unclear :

Will they broadcast ALL the matches of the big four(At least 4 per week : NO!!)?
Starting this week(20/01/2010)?
Does this mean, no more champions league?
Will i pass my exams?

It’s NOT 4 matches per week! Not at all! It’s the matches btw the Big 4 teams i.e. Man Utd v Liverpool, Chelsea v Arsenal … Here is the MBC blog post about this:

It will be #fail. last year they said the same shit…that they will show every big 4 matches. But we all know what happened.

If MBC plays all the match of the big 4 for 1 whole season, I will BECOME GAY.
